Here are a selection of WOW moments we have had at Standhill Infants. These include activities that we have participated in, visitors in school, animals we have helped look after and much more.
Our Family Picnic was a great success. The sun shone brightly and everyone had a lovely time. It was fantastic seeing so many families. The ice cream van was of course a big hit, as was Mrs Lowe's pocket money stall.
Some children were selected to participate in a KS1 Athletics Competition at Ernehale Junior School hosted by Next Level Sport. The children were fantastic as always. They tried their best and finished 2nd out of all the schools that participated. Well done!
Some children were selected to participate in a KS1 Athletics Competition at Arnold Hill hosted by Next Level Sport. The children were amazing and resilient! They tried their best and finished 3rd out of all the schools that participated. Well done!
Children, teachers and parents joined together to take part in Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research UK. We worked together to raise money by running around our school grounds and ran a cake and drink sale. This day was a HUGE success. Thank you to all of the parents who came into school to get invovled with their child - even during an unexpected snowfall! Also, thank you to all of the people who contributed to our final donation total.
World Book Day was a great success and enjoyed by adults and children. Everyone looked fantastic in their story costumes.
