Hello and welcome to Class 5!

The teachers in Class 5 are Mrs Magiera (Mondays, Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays) and Miss Glover (alternate Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays). The other adults that help in our class are Mrs Rickman and Miss Hunt. On Wednesdays, Miss Lockwood teaches us P.E and Miss Hunt teaches us R.E. 

This half term, our learning is centred around the theme 'My Magical World!'

Summer term home challenges are...

1. Make a magic potion. Collect flowers, leaves and herbs from your garden or on a walk (check this is ok with your grown-ups!) and make a lovely smelling potion (or not so lovely!) What smells are the strongest? What happens to the water? Can you write some instructions so that others can make your potion?

2. Plants we eat. We eat different parts of some plants, roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds. With help from a grown up, see what different parts of plants you can eat e.g carrots-root, cauliflower-flower, peas-seeds. You could help to prepare them. Which ones do you like and dislike?   

3. Life cycles Find out about the life cycle of an animal and display it in as creative a way as possible?
