Holidays for children during term time will NOT be authorised except for very limited reasons.
A fine will be issued if parents' decide to take their child(ren) out of school for the purpose of a holiday.
All of the headteachers in the Carlton area have met and agreed to follow the same procedures.
These have also been approved by our governing body.
Taking children out of school for holiday purposes is disruptive to their education and also to the class as a whole.
