Welcome to our Summer Term class page!
Thank you for all of your fantastic 'Not a Box' creations - some of the ones that you made are displayed below.
The children have undertaken lots of exciting learning during our Topic 'How Does Your Garden Grow?' and class 3
have become very knowledgeable about plants and minibeasts. We have looked at lots of non-fiction texts and the story Oliver's Vegetables. Just like Oliver we tried a different vegetable every day for a week!
Our visit with class 1 and 2 to Beaumanor Hall was a fantastic learning experience, even if we did get very wet!
Here is a selection of things we have been up to in the second half of our Summer term. We have used the story of Jack and the beanstalk to inspire us to explore plants in further detail and even made our own out of clay! We have also been exploring our Bee-Bots in more detail and created our own Bee-Bot map to explore. Class 3 are now really confident at using iPads and logging onto Active Learn so make sure you keep it up over the summer holidays!
