Marvellous Maths

We have been adopting a 'Mastery Approach' to our Maths learning in oredr to ensure a really good understanding of the composition of number and the nuber system. The children have had the opportunity to explore number through play, represent numbers in different ways and investigate with manipulatives. As the children progress they are able to record with jottings and then record more formally using mathematical signs.Thoughout their learning the children have worked really well using mathematical language to explain what they are doing.
