Our 90th Birthday celebrations - Part I

Past pupils and staff have enjoyed a fantastic reunion as part of Standhill Infants' School's 90th Birthday celebrations.

During the week the children have been participating in lots of activities relating to this theme.

Children experienced a lesson linked to the 1920s and there was a chance for current pupils and people who have had links with the school in the past had the chance to see old records, photographs and log books and have tea and cake!

On Friday 22nd November we are having a special Standhill birthday party and children are invited to come in party clothes and will be holding special class birthday celebrations.

As we wish to make this a real community occasion, everyone is invited, weather permitting,at 2.20pm, to the rear playground for a balloon release, birthday cake and community singing of 'Happy Birthday' to Standhill.

Here are some former Standhill classmates who we were very pleased to welcome, along with a former teacher, Miss Johnson.
